How to join

Join Ascend SMP

Pick your platform below. Java gives the full experience, including the server resource pack and proximity voice chat.

Minecraft: Java Edition 26.1.2

  1. Step 1: Launch Java Edition 26.1.2

    Open the Minecraft Launcher and play the latest release (or Lunar Client on 26.1.2).

  2. Step 2: Multiplayer, then Add Server

    NameAscend SMPAddressascendsmp.netNo port needed, our SRV record sends you to 25663. If a launcher insists on a port, use play.ascendsmp.net:25663.

  3. Step 3: Turn on the server resource pack

    Select the server, tap Edit and set Server Resource Packs to Enabled. This gives you the custom items, menus and icons the server is built around.

  4. Step 4: Join and run /spawn

    Accept the pack prompt when you join, then say hi in chat.
