Talk to players near you in game. Java Edition only, using a Fabric-capable client and the Simple Voice Chat mod.

  1. 1.Get a Fabric-ready client

    Download Lunar Client. It ships with Fabric support built in.

  2. 2.Download Simple Voice Chat

    Grab the Simple Voice Chat build for Minecraft 26.1.2 from Modrinth. Choose the Fabric jar.

  3. 3.Launch Lunar on 26.1.2 with Fabric

    In the launcher pick Minecraft 26.1.2 and the Fabric loader, then start the game once.

  4. 4.Open the mods folder

    Open the mod menu at the bottom of the launcher, then choose Open mods folder.

  5. 5.Drag the jar in and restart

    Drop the Simple Voice Chat jar into the mods folder, then fully restart Lunar Client.

  6. 6.Join Ascend SMP

    Connect to the server and press V to open your voice settings, set your mic and you are live.

  7. Tip: if Lunar reports a missing dependency such as Fabric API, download it from Modrinth and drop it into the same mods folder.
